TENU RISE
Built on Relationships
TenU RISE supports tech transfer talent through inclusive mentoring and individually tailored advice, helping participants to grow and develop personally as well as professionally. It is built on the strong relationships between mentees and mentors, all of whom are dedicated to improving society through the commercialisation of university research.
Mentoring relies on the crucial skills of careful listening, questioning, and ultimately sharing the thought process. Our mentors are senior professionals from leading UK, US and EU TTOs who form part of an experienced international network and are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion within the sector.
Applications for the 2026 cohort are open from 2 February to 13 March 2026.
How Mentoring Helps
The newly-published TenU RISE Guide offers tools to support those involved in the mentoring relationship, or those considering applying to the programme. As it is a developmental partnership, creating the optimum dynamic between mentee and mentor is key and we have produced this Guide to help you understand how to benefit from this opportunity. It also discusses when in your career path mentoring can be particularly valuable and how the process works.
TenU RISE is suitable for those who are early or mid-career and have an appetite for growth. If you are interested in the idea of peer-led learning from experts at leading TTOs and would benefit from support outside your organisation, you can check eligibility by contacting us.
